For financial institutions
Verify coverage and update mortgagee information on LenderDock.
Stand is on LenderDock. Banks, mortgage servicers, and other financial institutions can confirm a Stand policy and submit mortgagee corrections there — any time, without calling us.
What you can do
Two things, both self-service.
-
Verify coverage
Confirm a Stand policy is in force
Search for Stand Insurance on LenderDock to confirm a policy is active as of any date, and see the coverage, mortgagee, and premium on file. Search by policy number, or by the borrower’s last name and ZIP code if the loan file doesn’t have one.
-
Submit a correction
Add, replace, or remove a mortgagee
When a loan is sold, refinanced, or servicing transfers, submit the change on LenderDock — the new mortgagee, mailing address, loan number, and lien position. Corrections flow straight into our platform.
How it works
Three steps on LenderDock. The rest happens on our side.
- 1
Create a LenderDock account
Go to lenderdock.com and register your institution.
- 2
Find the policy
Select Stand Insurance, then search by policy number or by the borrower’s last name and ZIP code.
- 3
Verify, or submit the correction
Confirm coverage on the spot, or submit the mortgagee change. That’s it.
Every correction lands in our platform automatically and is drafted as a zero-premium endorsement. Our team reviews and binds it, and the updated declarations page is generated the moment the endorsement binds. The outcome of your submission is reported back to LenderDock.
Before you call
We no longer verify coverage or change mortgagee information by phone or email.
This applies to adding a new mortgagee as well as changing an existing one, and to requests that reach us through the homeowner or their agent. Use LenderDock.
Escrow-billed policies: electronic billing through LenderDock is coming soon. Until it launches, billing questions on escrow-billed policies can still reach us at support@getstand.com or 1-888-319-1332.
For brokers and agents
A bank asked you for a mortgagee change?
Let them know Stand is on LenderDock and send them to this page. Mortgagee changes on a bound policy come from the institution itself through LenderDock, so there’s nothing for you to submit — and the updated declarations page goes out automatically once the endorsement binds.
Common questions
Frequently asked questions.
Do I need a LenderDock account?
Yes. Register your institution at lenderdock.com. Stand doesn’t manage LenderDock accounts, so questions about signing up or logging in go to LenderDock’s support team.
Which carrier do I select?
Search for Stand Insurance.
I can’t find the policy. What now?
Two common reasons. Only issued policies are reportable — a quote or an application still in progress won’t appear until it binds. And if the loan file doesn’t have a policy number, search by the borrower’s last name and the property ZIP code instead.
Can I add a mortgagee that isn’t on the policy yet?
Yes. Adding a mortgagee, replacing one, removing one, and updating a loan number or lien position all go through a LenderDock correction.
When will I receive the updated declarations page?
As soon as the endorsement binds. Each correction is drafted automatically as a zero-premium endorsement and reviewed by our team before binding. The declarations page regenerates at that moment.
Can I still verify coverage or request a change by phone or email?
No. Coverage verification and mortgagee changes go through LenderDock — including requests that reach us through the homeowner or their agent. That keeps every change traceable to the institution that asked for it.
What about escrow-billed policies?
Electronic billing through LenderDock is coming soon. Until it launches, billing questions on escrow-billed policies can still reach our support team at support@getstand.com or 1-888-319-1332.
Who do I contact if something goes wrong?
For a LenderDock account or a submission that won’t go through, contact LenderDock support. For anything about the policy itself, email support@getstand.com or call 1-888-319-1332.
